Hi guys,

Thanks for the suggestion. It's a great idea and we will look at implementing it. No promises though and we have some other changes for the forums that will take priority so it won't be instant.

Please bear in mind that there are hundreds of threads on the forum every day and sometimes we can miss them. If you want to highlight something, the best idea is to PM one of the MSE staff - we don't have moderators on the forum, only voluntary board guides that don't have the power to make changes like this.

Hi folks,

Thanks for the suggestion davetrousers, we've actually been looking into a way to highlight the original post(er) and we've been toying with reproducing the original post at the top of each page for easy reference. However, I quite like the idea of highlighting their subsequent posts too so I'll take that into account when I sit down with the Devs on this.

davetrousers, you've made 14 posts in this thread about this. In post #36 the Webmaster says they're looking into it. Don't you think it's time to let them get on with it if they want to, or accept that it's not going to happen?
