Why would someone waste their time trying to 'flog crappy savings accounts' to a 16 year old with no money?

I'd have it opened, an account number generated and they'd be on their way in ten minutes.

got an appoint tomorrow i want her to have an account that will take her through collage and then on to uni (natwest offers plenty now but i wonder what there like with students )

Natwest are generally one of the best in terms of the offers that they give to students (who are at university).

In terms of customer service, and what they give to people who are not students (in terms of interest, etc), they are to be avoided.

16 and 17 year olds should be put on the electoral roll even though they can't vote yet.

It actually states this on the electoral registration form.

can you quote the exact words?
