Hey, hope someone can help me with this. My father opened a new ISA with Santander, is it normal for them to send a email rather than paper work in the post? They do say internet login details will be sent in 10-14days time, Copy of the email below

Your Santander Flexible ISA

How to start saving
To make sure you take full advantage of the great rate your Santander Flexible ISA brings you, you'll need to make your first deposit.
Remember: If you intend to fund your ISA for the 2009/2010 tax year your funds must reach the account before 5th April 2010.
Your account details are:
Sort code: *REMOVED*
Account number: *REMOVED*
Saving is easy, simply choose how to make your first deposit:
1. By direct debit
Register an account you would like to move money from by completing the attached ‘Direct Debit' form and return it to our freepost address provided below.

2. By cheque
Make sure that the cheque is in your name and write your name, date of birth and your 8-digit account number (provided above) on the back. Complete the attached ISA transaction form and then send both to the address provided above.
3. From an account with another provider
Make the request to the Bank or Building Society you are moving money from. They will need your Flexible ISA sort code and account number provided above (this can take up to three working days).
Logging on to your account
Your eBanking registration details should arrive in the post within 10 – 14 days and to log onto your account for the fist time follow the steps outlined.
Once again, thank you for saving with Santander.
Yours sincerely,

Yes I've had this type of e-mail from them before (when they were Alliance & Leicester) - just an e-mail acknowledgement really.
