Hi guys. My friend works for 02 and has said he can get me a 30% discount on the line rental. I am just wondering if this is the same case with the Iphone and also do you get any discount on the actual phone itself if there is a charge? What about the insurance? Finally, what, if any, is the credit check like?

    No discount on the phone.

    Insurance? It's quite expensive on the iPhone, are you planning on losing it or breaking it?

    Credit check is OK on O2.

    Didn't the 30% discount stop 2-3 months ago and you now only get something like £70 credit on you bill?

    Not for staff family and friends deals..... I was in O2 on Saturday an got offered one by my mate but decided to go with T-Mobile instead as we get full 3G in Newark On Trent whereas Opoo get JUST 2G
