The N1 claim form has a claim Number, and is stamped by the county court, with a another stamp saying "served on XX March 2010"
It is a HMO, I checked with the enviroment department. The landlord is also licensed. He is also treating it a like a HMO, a fire extinguisher and fire blanket mysteriously appeared in our kitchen a few days after we were given notice!
The rent is above £25K, it was above £25K on the 2003 lease. But the lease is clearly titled "Agreement for letting dwellinghouse at XXXXX on an assured shorthold tenancy"
I would say we rent a share house, not seperate bedsits, it is one lease and it says J&S in the appendix.
tbs624, I will look into this Private Sector Rentals Officer and community legal advice. I will also check about a solicitor.
Thank you all for your opions and advice.0
