The desire is generally considered to be the better option as the optical pad thing is easier and more reliab le to use as well as several other specs being slightly higher than the nexus 1 while retaining a lower priceLBM 2 - 27.05.09. Desire has more RAM, arguably nicer interface, no stupid trackball and better buttons, amongst other improvements.
