sticky handles on buggy

Hi We have a Maclaren buggy that has been given to us for when our grandaughter visits. She's walking now so doesn't use a buggy much but we're going on holiday in the summer and want to take the buggy. The rubber handles on the buggy are sticky and I don't know what to do to get rid of it or if I can buy replacement…

if your only intention is to use it whilst on holiday i would go with the tape suggestion, i feel it would be a waste of money to buy replacement handles if your granddaughter walks most of the time now
