Apply some logic, MJ. There must be more people who are getting a good deal and are satisfied with it than those who aren't otherwise the company would go bust. Some of their deals are very good indeed from a £££ point of view.
What is the point is the level of complaint. Now 80% would be bad, but 98% satisfaction would still produce a lot of complaints given the number of sales that the company does. Are you really saying that the majority (i.e. over 50% ) of the customers are being ripped off?? Somehow, I don't believe that.
It doesn't make it any better for those who do have problems, though, and that I happily concede. But by far and away the overwhelming majority of bad posts against this company are on misleading repayment timescales, non-existent Customer Service and the rep's promises not being kept.
I agree with your last sentence. However, the bandying around of statistics as to the number of "satisfied" customers is a rather misleading ploy which the representative employs to justify the numerous bad experiences of people regularly starting threads on here. If one legitimate cashback is denied in a year it is WRONG. If two or more are denied on separate contracts for different people on a relatively small sample - how many are also denied for the many people who have no idea that this site exists? Similarly, where did I ever claim that 50% of their customers get ripped off? Further, the "logic" that dishonest dealers go bust is plainly untrue; three years ago E2Save made a conscious decision to selectively deny perfectly legitimate cashback claims, yet they still thrive. Vodafone is constantly attacked by innumerable customers who have been promised "upgrades" only to find they have been lied to and the contracts they end up with are far more expenesive than they were promised - yet they remain a large FTSE 100 company. How many HONEST companies HAVE gone bust for all sorts of other reasons, meanwhile?
There is no point in getting involved in hypothetical and fictitious statistics; the point is that this dealer does deny legitimate claims and people considering using them should prepare themselves accordingly or avoid.0 -

3 known to Mobilejunkie so far over ??? years. And he refuses to give details of these "Legitimate" claims.
Beware of the poor CS and slow repayment times by all means - there are a significant number of actual factual instances quoted on this forum, but make your mind up yourselves on the cashback issue. MJ says they are legitimate, so obviously they must be. Don't question it or ask for proof - just accept his word.0 -
I'm sure people are quite capable of making up their own minds. Meanwhile Mobiles.co. can either pay up or go to court.0

Well IMHO for what it's worth i would accept the word of MJ before that fo his knockers anytime.Be good to the young on their way up you might need them on your way down.0

In response to MJ :- What I don't subscribe to is a MSE member whose arrogance is such that they demand unquestioned acceptance of their word as law without any back up and, when asked for a few details, refuses to provide them.
It doesn't make what you wrote wrong, but it patronises MSE members who might want to make up their own minds based on evidence or facts.
Very happy if you are one of the devoted followers willing to accept Mobilejunkie's word without any evidence. facts or even some hint of why, out of character, this company has refused to process a claim. Clearly you are not one of the patronised I referred to. You may observe that I did not disbelieve him, simply asked for some more information, which, I hope you would have agreed, is reasonable.
I suspect, however, that some other MSE members might prefer some facts so that they can make up their own minds, rather than blindly taking MJ's "completely unbiased and impartial" word for it, given his ongoing vendetta with CPW companies.0 -

Your mind was made up months ago; on 30th January you said:-
"the sooner they cancel your membership, the better".
It's certainly not me (or others you also consistently acuse) who is running a "vendetta" against someone. I won't worry about any judgements you would make about this company or me. My "vendetta" is no such thing. If this company turned around I would be the first to sing its praises - as I do for another company where hardly anyone has any problems (as you well know, not that it counts for anything with you).
Unlike you, I won't presume to know what other MSE members think and I certainly won't make up excuses for a plainly incompetent and dishonest dealer (as you constantly do). When they pay and follow their own t&c, stop putting deals on their website they won't honour, misleading people with their advertising, rejecting perfectly valid cashback claims, alter the wording in their t&c and then blatantly deny on here the previous wording ever existed, make specific promises they hardly ever keep, try to shut up actual customers who find their way on here to warn others and selectively appear to promote their non-existent concern for customers I will stop making criticisms.
Meanwhile, they will pay the claim in this instance one way or another without my asking for their "help" on here and I will update when they have decided to do so.0 -

Indeed I did. I was fed up with the number of threads that you and others hijacked causing the mods to close the threads. No doubt this one will be closed too fairly soon.
You continue - despite all of the evidence of my recent posts - to maintain that I defend the company. I am not defending it. I am simply having a go at your particular way of making statements or points that you refuse to explain or substantiate in order for MSE members to make informed judgments based upon some evidence.
You have consistently refused to back up your claims with any facts, instead relying upon the "I am MobileJunkie - I am informed - take what I say as gospel - do not question it" stance.
Now I have agreed with you in the past on some issues as you know and have recorded thanks against many of your helpful posts, but for you to deny that you have a vendetta against CPW companies defies belief from any regular reader of this particular sub-forum. So, when someone is a known knocker of a company, then that person needs to be even more specific about the particular issue in question unless, of course, they do not really want to help or advise MSE members what particular problem has arisen, but simply provide themselves with a soapbox to repeat again and again the familiar diatribe that ceases to be informative, only repetitive and boring.0
