About 4 years ago I put 3000 in a Halifax S&S ISA, from reading strings on this site now know Halifax is not a good place for S&S, but as I did not have anymore money to add to it so it most probable did'nt matter to much.

Circumstances have changed and I can now put 250/300 a month into a S&S ISA and of course transfer the Halifax S&S. I don't understand enough about S&S to do it myself, would I be wasting an IFA's time with such a small about of money to invest and would it be cost effective.

I do have cash ISAs and my cash already and waiting for April.

Thanks very much for all your help :smileyhea
