I used to have phases of binging on chocolate, then not having any. What works for me is that I no longer think of it as a 'bad' or 'forbidden' food - in fact, I don't regard any foods like this. After an initial period where I ate quite a lot of chocolate, I'm now comfortable and confident in keeping a box full of the stuff easily accessible in the kitchen (the little sticks you get in Lidl and Aldi). Some days I have one, some days I don't - I fully believe this is because I know I am "allowed" to have some whenever I want; I never think that it's naughty or bad to eat it, and I know that it's still going to be there the next day if I want it. Cravings beaten!

(Swearing off the stuff will only make you want it more, in my experience...)

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.

I have to swear off it, it's dairy and I'm intolerant. I'd rather have craving then dodgy bum thanks.

Dark chocolate doesn't have milk in it! ;)

I am a sucker when it comes to choccie, if its in the cupboard i cannot stop thinking about it until its eaten hence we don't buy it to store....i like all kinds not fussy :D

I even resort to getting a spoon in the nutella jar when i'm desperate...and i'm not talking one spoonful.....its the sugar rush and comfort i love ;)

But i rarely drink and don't smoke so a girl must have some bad somewhere :)

But if its actually the fat and the sugar and mild powder you are addicted to, then you have hit the exact spot the marketing managers want you to. They make the "chocolate" like this in order to get people "hooked" and repeatedly coming back for more. They need to do this as otherwise no one would eat choclate bars- being that it has no other nutritional benefit unless you are trying to gain weight quickly.

Think thats what I get the high from it! But been ill the last few days, and I havent wanted it. I have a ear infection and had a fever, and I don't crave the chocolate right now? Odd, I wonder why, its great! Hope it lasts!

I love my chocolate, but I don't pig out on it.

My favourite is Cadbury milk and also Galaxy.

I hate dark chocolate and would rather go without than eat Thorntons, considering the price of it, it tastes like cack!

I haven't wanted it, but I gave in today, mainly as I fell down the stairs....but I only had a little bar.

Back to it tomorrow....I'll allow myself one blip a week, and that was the blip

I'm watching it....and I've got to say, it's definitely putting me off chocolate. Child labour, nicking children and selling them on....it's sick
