silly and stupid but.....I've got an cash ISA I have not paid into for over a year with Santander earning NOWT:mad:
I need to do something about it now so here's my question. Can I close it down and start again elsewhere, as I've noticed that many of the offers around do not allow you to transfer in. Or shall I just open another ISA, withdraw the funds from the old one and start again?
I really dont have much to save just now as times are oh so lean:(

If you are under 50 on 5th April 2010 and have less than £8,700 (£10,200 if 50 or over) in the present Cash ISA and have not paid ANY new money into any Cash ISA since 6th April 2009, you could close it and withdraw the funds then open a new Cash ISA (for example, their 3.5% Flexible ISA) and subscribe up to £3,600 (£5,100 if 50 or over) by 5th April 2010 and then add up to another £5,100 on or after 6th April.onesonsmum wrote: »silly and stupid but.....I've got an cash ISA I have not paid into for over a year with Santander earning NOWT:mad:
