With fybogel (psyllium husk) you must drink lots of water or it won't help. But I see you do anyway.
Some things I am trying to increase fibre intake are I leave skins on my potatoes (even roasties).
You said you can't get on with oat bran, didn't know if that meant oats at all...but if you can tolerate oat gluten...
Oatibix are high in fibre and might be suitable for you (http://www.weetabix.co.uk/contact/faqs/allergies-and-special-diets/12/).
If you can eat oats, could you eat them as flapjacks for a treat?
Pineapple is supposed to be very good for constipation, although I can't verify it as I eat a lot and am still constipated. Dried pineapple is really really nice, as is dried mango if you haven't tried them.
I find eggs are bad for constipation, I have to limit myself to 2 a week. So maybe something to consider...
Bananas are suppose to be constipating too.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
I can't eat any gluten containing food as it brings up all the symptoms, without it (I've been GF for the past three weeks at least) I feel a lot more alive and able to do more, with it I feel bloated, fat and sluggish.
There's lots of fruit in (I have it for breakfast a couple of times a week) so I'll be starting on that more I think. I only eat bananas when they're brown so that's not too often. I may need help from other sources so I'll try what has been recommended and report back. And the double dose of senna and syrup of figs has only just started to shift things...** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I have a small glass of Welchs Grape Pear and Apple juice drink every morning this helps me. I used to go only once a week and then only a few rabbit droppings but go ok if i drink this.0

One thing I find makes a difference is when I do yoga regularly everything seems to work better IYKWIM - I think its the twists, forward bends and stretching that aid the digestive system - so consider things you do that massage your organs I'm sure it helps them work better.0

I would definitely recommend exercise if you can manage it.
Fybogel is good stuff, but I hate the texture - sticks in my throat! If you can get on with it, then it may help in the long term.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0 -

Just wondering about the thirst- have you been checked for diabetes because that is a classic sign. How about going to see your dr and asking for a referral to a dietician who can incorporate your intolerances as well as offering you ideas re your diet?0
