Unfortunetaly not everybody knows the T&Cs inside out and back to front, I'd take 'not transferable' as read

And i am far from perfect, but do not need to vent in the same manner as you.

Maybe that's cos your mate, the assistant manager at the O2 store in Newark on Trent, gives you 30 percent discount plus inside information on the iphone and the Palm Pre? I'm sure that most of us wouldn't have to vent if we were getting inside information and deals that aren't generally available to the public.

Think before you print before you write.

I think that you mean 'think before you type' matey, but maybe that should be something for you to consider!:rotfl:
  • I bought the Out Here package back in 2001 to add to an Orange PAYG phone.

Tried to use the sim card today and it has been cut off. It has taken Orange 8 years to get round to cutting it off.

Do you think they will re-activate the sim and my Out Here package if I call them up?

Lee, I have the Out Here package and mine still works. It was markted as 'five free texts a day for life' so they have an obligation to honour that. Is this the first time you have used the sim card?!!!

I've had the sim card for over 10 years but have not topped it up for 8 years. The sim card has remained active until recently although it did have long periods of not being switched on.

It still should work, Lee. I sometimes don't use mine for long periods and only when top ups run out on another phone. The five texts a day come in handy at times when I know I won't be sending many. You should give them a call and find out what's happened. And good luck with that - you'll need it!!!
