Oh god I'm really confused now..not sure the free site is going to be customisable enoughall i need is a couple of pages and a pay by paypal button and some pretty backgrounds....:-( Oh and a nice logo...Oh Munchki.....!!

I have only just caught up on the thread since I left it on Monday afternoon, so I couldn't comment on all the posts even if I wanted to!!! Suffice to say that Elly, I would love a first edition, but I think you should make sure that they come with a little pocket in them for hankies, because with all the crying with laughter I was doing, they'd come in handy!!

I went shopping yesterday morning for a birthday gift for my mum, and ended up in a wee gift shop which had the usual candles and smellies etc, but it also had a lot of handmade goodies. Got talking with the owner, so many gorgeous things, and long story short she said she'd be glad to take a look at any crochet goodies with a view to selling them in the shop! Now I'm not counting my chickens, cos let's face it, she hasn't seen anything I've done lol, but I've been playing today on trying to do a couple of more 'polished' bits and pieces as I think they would be more fitting for the type of shop she has. Anyhoo, will wait and see, I agreed to pop in a week on Saturday and take her some bits.

Guess what has just happened the american lady has bought said album before i could get her all quotes
I was being bombarded with messages from her
Cheapest I could get was £23 and that was only 80% chance of next day delivery
Guarenteed delivery was .....£71 :eek: or £47Trouble is she just paid 6.50 dollars postage
She said she would pay extra but has now gone silent,I have sent her 2 messages explaining cost versus guarnteed next day
What do I do now

Even, explain the huge cost of next day delivery.
I've had limited experience with Etsy but because it only lets you set one price per country, and not by speed or tracked or not, customers seem to think you'll ship at cost to you. So she may well be expecting you to post next day guaranteed for £6...stupid, I know.

I hope OH is home soon.

MoneyMabel. maybe think about a static blog. you can get loads of themes. Mine was not available on main blogger site but a samll search and a couple of clicks later completely different template.
Can change header images etc and can add paypal buttons/ google checkout to items.
Can get templates specifically for e-commerce as well I think.
Not saying should go that way but worth taking a little time to weigh up the options.
something blue and beyond was my favourite too and people may well search for something blue.
will have a look at the free site link too.
