and heres a big *KICK* from me :-)0 -
Mambury-is my post going to be delayed coz all the post men will be bringing your bargains??!!
No idea about the starsigns..I think the main reason is prob coz hes a man!!0 -
lol, don't worry Mambury, someone had to get them! I know the feeling about keeping things, trust me! If you have ordered that much, you may well feel like me, that there is way to much, you are overwhelmed and list it all! Wasn't after much anyway, shockingly, I use the same supplier as them, so have a lot of similar stuff, plus I can get it slightly cheaper (yes even the £1 items), would have just been nice to get only the bits I wanted, instead of a load of random !!!!!! as well!
Mabel - pmsl, he is just a man! prob true! thanks for the kick! Have just emailed a major Amazon dealer in the hopes of shifting some of the books in bulk, unsuprisingly, he only wants paperbacks, but if it is a good price and I can flog the hardbacks at a bootsale, don't see why not!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Morning!!
I'm all excited, paid my minimum payment on my credit card (0%) and suddenly realised that the balance is almost gone :j:j:j. So soon it will be bye bye MBNA.
Got £10 from Lightspeed (finally) and £3 from pinecone. One of my items on eBay is at £3.20 already and has 8 watchers. Considering it was a glitch I'm well chuffed cos it was a freebie!0 -
Right I am off wrk for a week and a bit so i need you guys help to focus.
I have been doing alot of thinking and the stage I am at is this:
Jewellery website/blog/fb fan page/twitter Do tiaras for a dress shop make about 1k a year profit.
Cooking blog (just my messing about)
pile ready for ebay photos
wanting to matched bet
have signed up to alot of survey sites/review sites.
So that is the situation but I lack motivtion and focus. I seem to have too much going on and i'm mastering nothing. Website I m struggling with pictures and getting good ones, also struggling with making enough stock to actualy sit waiting to sell plus packaging and pricing.
I hate repeating myself on a blog so as a result don't really post alot.
Ebay stuff i just can't seem to get around too but really should.
Matched betting is the same, joined the google group but trying to ringfence funds to start and an account to start has proved difficult also people are secerative about possible returns which puts me off a bit.
Survey sites - I get really demotivated by answering what seems like a miion uestions only to be told I do not meet the criteria after 20 minutes.

Lilac pixie. the most concrete thing on there seems to be making tiaras for dress shop is it 1k profit from that or were you including possible profit from website?
With the cookery blog you could do like Dilli does with wedding stuff and round up inspiring cookery stuff that you find on the web and do a post on each thing and then intersperse with your own stuff too. that way you can keep regular content on there but a big amount of it is other peoples stuff that you comment (nicely) on.
People on here may be able to help with the website stuff.
would prioritise making stock for the wedding shop so that you can be reliable to them.
Ebay is a bit of a slog but should bring some money in
Build your blog up and have a link to your jewellery website, then i if you get a lot of followers you may get followers to your jewellery stuff too.
just my initial thoughts

Lilac-know what you mean about survey sites the best i've found are onepoll and Pinecone. I think you need to set yourself one task a day..I do this and I usually find that once I've done one I can carry on! If you want I will set you todays as doing your ebay pictures..thats it-you dont have to do anything else..and heres a big *KICK* to get you started!!
NLID-I think you should charge even if its a nominal amount..perhaps give it to a few people for testing (not me coz I wont be able to tell if its good or bad!) people that know computers. and then work out what they would be willing to pay for it?
Well done Nikki on the credit card!!
I've been sorting out photos for the new site-they haven't turned out too badly, have just been photoshopping Mildreds crack........the crack in the plastic on her waist you perves...:-)
will try to sort out some pricing this afternoon :-/0
