Terms & Condition:Security / Damage Deposit

A landlord can request a security deposit as a condition of renting,as long as the deposit does not exceed more than one month's rent. Always be sure to get a receipt and document !

You will get your security deposit back at the end of your tenancy, as long as you meet the requirements that you and your landlord agree to in your lease. Your landlord must refund your security deposit not more than 10 days after the end of your tenancy.

Re scammers - I read one that claimed to be an African minister and he was letting out the property cheaply because he wanted nice people to be living in it ... yeah right. How philanthropic.

Am at work today so might not get much dribbling done, and may have overdone it slightly last night with the red wine, oops!! Still, I've come in armed with hook and wool so if the customers stay away I might get something productive done after all!
