well my day has started on a bum note
woke at 7.00 to dog wretching and pucking on my bedroom carpet
them heard DGD up next door went in and she had managed to get fish food and tipped it in her cot,not sure if shes eaten any

hope the day improves, carnt hack another day like yesterday

Yuk, poor you! I had the total of 4 hours sleep as my cats don't agree with it not being a working day and decided 6.30 was the time to get up. When I didn't cooperate they decided to do the herd of elephants trick of chasing each other up and downstairs at full pelt until I got up. Feel quite sorry for the teenagers next door - they must have banging headaches, and I'm sure they will have heard it too (slightly gloating smile behind hand). But at least I didn't have to clear up sick!

I'm now trying to work out how Quidco works as it kept telling me I was getting paid £20 on 31st March, and now it has changed it to 30th April. Could really have done with it too, doh! 4 out of the 9 sales on ebay haven't paid yet. Not that it's a problem as yet, but I don't understand why people go to the trouble of bidding for things at the last minute (so they are definitely online when it finishes) and then don't pay for it. Seems like they make work for themselves sometimes.

I know some of you do Pinecone surveys. I've seen people post that they get paid for each one, but I'm just getting free ones coming through all the time. I've done about 8 now thinking that the paid ones will start soon, but this morning yet another free one has come through. Are these like qualifying surveys that I'm not passing or is it a new thing?

Dammit, I'm sat in my living room and one of the cats got locked in here last night and I can smell that horrible smell that means she couldn't hold it all night. Now to track down the puddle and get it cleaned up. Looks like your not on your own after all Even! :p

Sounds like a lot of tired people on here today. Hope you all still have a good day.
I'm going to work at 11 so will have to start getting myself sorted out soon.
I've not done pinecone for a long time Joey so can't answer that one for you.
have you checked that the payout for 30th of April isn't different transactions to the 31st March.
I've had £20 payout for Feb and March as some just didn't quite make it into the Feb one.

  • I am fine, not stressing...much!

Joey and Evenstar - I can top both of you, I have 2 kittens that insist on going NEXT TO the litter tray and not in it, plus my cats are being lazy, seeing the tray and thinking, why bother with the window?

Have fun today Jo, did you manage to get a comfy pair of shoes? I know what its like to be on your feet all day, I remember the ache and don't envy you! all I can say is you will get used to it eventually xx

Evenstar - Yes all 1 year olds are little horrors, causing mischeif quicker than you can stop it, well at least mine was, still is!

Joey - my Quidco did that too, £79.50 and it said payable on 31st March, now it has changed to 30th Apr, don't understand :(

Elly - I love cheesy nights, might not be much good, but you will laugh about it for ages! Oh, to be child free for a while...sighs

Hi all, I'm not even going to try to catch up with the thread - I've been away and when I left we were on the previous thread! I really need a good kick up the backside to get myself money making again. I feel like I'm back to square one again, no ideas how I want to progress with this. I could keep on Ebaying the junk from the house / garage for a couple of months yet but I want to start moving on from that. Time to spend a weekend brainstorming!

his bank refused a payment for my laptop part of £4.40 even though he had plenty money in...they will prob say it was for safety but as I pointed out if your gonna rob someone you would take more than £4.40 and they let all other payments for £100s go through...doesnt make sense

I think it's because thieves sometimes try a small payment to see if it goes through unnoticed, and then use the details for bigger amounts.
