Was going to suggest taking her out into a field and standing her on something so only sky behind. then realised you might not want to be in a field with mildred in a merkin!!
so how a bout a backdrop. if you stood her up with a gap between her and the back drop then the distortion caused by her may mean that she stands out more than when she is flat on the fabric. could try some kind of lighting to glint off her just to make her more obvious.
