I had flip flops at the car boot sale on sunday and got laughed at ! Even though it was glorious sunshine, people still had wellies on to avoid the puddles !
Not sure about ebay though. Internationally might be okay as I had heard there are some countries in the world with sunshine all year round ( dont believe it though ! All a big scam to get us to travel. Bah humbug)VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

2Cats- hope I am not too late, going against the grain here, but done let them, get a second opinion, two of my friends used to work there and the thing they used to maon about that stuck with me was the fact they used to put down animals to easily.
Yukki - can you make a penguin? They are great
Dilli - time off is definately needed me thinks, that and a big bar of chocolate. Chocolate fixes everything (plus it is full of happy hormones!)

ooh listed one ! Time for a cuppa now.
I have 4 blumming hamsters to list ( gogo pets not real ones !) and I have been putting it off for 3 months now. That is my next challenge. Why I have an aversion to it I have no idea. But its there. And I must deal with it. I'm going to put them in the middle of the kitchen so I trip over them to get to the kettle and therefore cant ignore them.
Or I may break my leg.

for those that are selling on amazon.... it might just not be worth it if you sell the same items on ebay as Amazon have decided you must have the same price across the board ie own website, ebay, amazon etc regardless of their fees....

HeadlinesPrice Parity
22 Mar 2010
Price is one of the most important factors customers use when making buying decisions. In order to offer buyers the best possible experience on Amazon.co.uk, beginning 31st March, Amazon will require price parity for all sellers selling under the Amazon.co.uk marketplace Participation Agreement. Price parity for these sellers means that the item price and total price (total amount payable, excluding taxes) of each product a seller offers on Amazon.co.uk must generally be the same or lower than on the seller’s other non-physical sales channels. We believe this practice increases customer trust, which can result in more customers and sales, and increased value of the Amazon.co.uk marketplace to sellers. Although the Participation Agreement will reflect this change on 31st March, sellers will have until 1st May to make the necessary price parity changes. Ok I'm back from catching up now.
Evenstar - Silloth???? Too far from Newcastle for that car boot, hope it's worth it for you. I think Hexam is about my limit. cost in petrol is crazy these days, especially with a boot full of stuff to sell.
Helz - has been said before but you only need domain for now.
Hales - I know you say your commitments list is open to everyone but I'm too scared to put something on there yet. one day though.
Joey - your links are excellent but some of them don't work. will pm you with what I've tried.
MummyandP - sorry to hear about your friend, I have clots in my right lung and my brain, they're not the easiest thing to come to terms with but once you accept them, you just have to adjust your life a little to adapt.
Yukki - I love Harriet and Jessica
And that's about it I think. sorry if I've missed anyone.
Ok here goes... (sorry for a long one)
Well, yesterday we went to my parents for lunch, came back and OH said she wanted to nip down to her parents with the kids while I listed more on ebay.
So with the house to myself, and surrounded in boxes of books and ornaments, I decided that the best thing to do would be to leave the listings as they are (15 active, 5 with bids) as I don't want to overdo it in my first week,:D especially if they all sell then it's trip after trip to the post office. So instead I chose to tidy the house, dishes, washing, toys away, move all boxes around pc out of the dining room. I just thought that my OH does it all the time so it's about time I did my bit, there's no point trying to make money for a stable future for my family if when I get there, I have no family to support because somewhere along the way we lost what was important.
Sorry if that's too deep, but it's how I felt.
When OH came home with DS, (DD decided to stay at grandma's) all the house was clean and tidy, we got DS to bed and then we sat down together and watched the film FAME. (really enjoyed it too btw):D
We also talked about my ideas and the reasons I'm doing it is not just to sit and mess about on the computer, but I want to be able to make enought money to pay off our debt quicker and so that she can drop 10 hours a week after her maternity, and that these are both things we want so I would like her support. She agreed and even though was unsure how she could help, she is going to use her twitter and facebook, talk to her friends, other school mums, her slimming club, etc
she's also volunteered to drop a few leaflets through the door for them, I asked if she was being paid which she isn't???? so I said I'd rather you did something to help us make money, so she's going to drop some leaflets through doors too when I get some made up. compromise.;)
As we went to bed, my mind started to tick, working by myself is rewarding, gettin my wife to help is fantastic.
Now imagine, what we could do if some/all of the dribblers, got together and worked together on a project.
That was it. I was up out of bed and I have scribbled about 8 or 9 pages of ideas, backrounds, etc. before I decided I had to go to sleep to get up for work today.
So I guess, now with the clear light of day I should review what I've written and if any of it is worthwhile, I'll come back on and share it with you. If not, I'll come back on and you can all laugh about it. Fine with that too as sometimes my midnight ramblings can produce Genius or Jester.
