Hi Shell - hope you are ok. you don't need to be actively doing the challenge to come on here for a moan and a laugh. You have been missed. we've done a few shout outs for you over the days. Was just last night tryin to remember what you changed your website to and maybe get in touch that way to see if you were all right. Anyway enough waffling - glad you re-appeared.
Nixi just commented on your FB to say glad it went well.
Linked to your photomeme post in my new post. Hope you don't mind. Its a long one though. Went off on one of my longwinded ramblings:o
Anyway feel like at least I did somethin this morning.

hi people. i havent managed to keep up with this forum lately as my daughter has ended up in hospital for nearly a week now with temps over 41. just been so worried i have had to let my challenge suffer. hows everyone doing? webshop is going well for me. few orders everyday now since doing all the search engine listings and stuff required. think ive made around £400 profit which isnt bad so far considering everything going on.
found out by myself and oh are being taken through bankruptcy via creditors but its a relief as we are in over our heads.:j:jDribbling my way to financial success:j:j

Even - well done!!!
MMTWGR - Woohoo - no more hamsters to fall over!!
Thanks Jo!
Trying to remember my wedding songs -as they are obviously my favourites!!
Forrest Gump Suite" composed and conducted by Alan Silvestri – (for no reason othe than I love it - I walked in to this!)
From This Moment - Shania Twain (our last minute first dance choice!)
Are You Lonesome Tonight (version wher Elvis is laughing and changes he lyrics!) including "Do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair".
(This was one of my must have songs - we had it playing during the meal)
The Way You Look Tonight - Frank SInatra (during the meal!)
Little Less Conversation - Elvis
What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong (left to this)
I am not actually a huge Elvis fan despite this list!!!!Life is a work in progress0 -
Hhonlyfan. What a worrying time. I hope she is on the mend now.
Great profit so far and glad you feel a bit of relief although its a horrible thing to have to go through.

Woohoo! Amazon have just paid me for a book I sold - pity it was only £1.41! (it was a penny book) - still I've added it to my signature total - something's better than nothing!
Now we've got past FIL's funeral, we've only got to wade through the Grant of Probate form, IHT form and a stack of paperwork - letters etc which are all coming here as DH is executor.
Still, we're going away for a week at Easter - hoping to chill for a bit, get some thinking time in and plan my next moneymaking step. I haven't upgraded my Ebay account to a business- TBH I've only been selling my stuff (which mainly amounted to a heck of a lot of old knitting patterns, some clothes, very outgrown toys of my sons' -they are all in their 20s now!- plus unwanted Christmas presents etc.,) but I'm quite into knitting - not done much in a while DH keeps asking when will I finish his jumper - taken me about 6 months to do just the back!:rotfl:
But I seriously might follow through with the knitting pattern business - but not on Ebay - too much c**p with their rules and tests and tutorials etc - plus I resent paying so much in fees.
Think I'm going to start again with Etsy - I have quite a few vintage patterns still to get rid of - and I will be able to get slightly more for them on there I think. Folksy only seems to have pdf knitting patterns (designed by the seller) at the mo. I may have a go at that too - but designing patterns is time consuming - think I could do it - I have the knitting knowledge - just never tried!
Well, ramble over - got to fill the car with petrol and the house with food - back later!0 -
