Help! Skype Videocalling - Trust WB1200p Mini Webcam

Hi all, Trying desperately to be able to use my webcam when I call my mum - we both have a Trust WB1200p mini webcam so that it would be easier, but as of yet have never been able to see eachother. Please can anyone advise what we may be doing wrong? I have checked Skype video options and tested etc - I can see myself fine…

Thanks - the Logitech Quickcam STX one seems good and Amazon have it for £23 which seems fine (rather than Skypes' £33.45)... thanks so much :j
