Can I ask what about things like internet? I have it at the moment and do everything on it, cant live without it. I don't drive and so i use it to do my shopping on etc . With 4 kids the internet is a godsend. Will I lose it when bankrupt?

No I doubt you would lose it with four children, you could say you use it for the children's education etc. x

Thanks for the quick reply. Thats a weight off my mind. My children would be loopy without our computer, always researching stuff for school!!

Can the bankrupcy people refuse you bankrupcy if they think you can afford the payments..? Stupid questions keep running through my head.. just keep worrying they wont let me go bankrupt ...

also LTSB have defaulted me on both my loans with them.. what happens now

you will get through it. When you feel like you are head plays big tricks and probs and makes you so bad to worry:)

Hi Karen, Good advise from everyone. First thing Make a list of all your creditors, debts, assets.
Secondly and most important on monday contact one of the following debt charities:-

Consumer Credit Counselling Service - Website: CCCS Telephone: 0800 138 1111
National Debtline - Website: National Debtline Telephone: 0808 808 4000
Citizens Advice Bureau - Website: Citizens Advice or visit your local CAB centre (find nearest)

Please try these they don't charge and are impartial, try at least two.

I know your head is spinning, but one step at a time. The debt charities will help you all the way and us aswell.
