Perhaps your auction stated it was USB2? Whether it works or not, if he was expecting USB2, he'd be pretty cheesed off to receive something that was USB1.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
How about (negative): "Full refund offered, but buyer refused to return goods. Avoid."
On the plus side, you have his cash.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I would neg him back with something along the lines of
'left unecessary f/b b4 returning item 4 refund - wanted refund b4 returning item! - avoid' - get as many words in as possible!Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
The BIG problem with eBay feedback is whatever we leave for this idiot buyers it doesnt stop them buying from others!
We can block people with so many strikes from bidding on our listings but we cant stop people with x number of negatives as a buyer bidding. I think this is a drawback. The worst thing is seeing someone has bought something from you then seeing their feedback along the lines of that above....people can put AVOID in feedback but as a seller we cant avoid them unless we add them to our blocked bidders by having prior knowledge....AAARRRGGGHHH

Whether it works or not is entirely the issue here, as the buyer stated that the reason he wanted a refund was due to the item not working. However, he states in the feedback that the item was USB1, not 2. This is very odd considering the buyer said the item does not work. If it didn't work, he wouldn't know if it was USB1 or 2. If the auction stated USB1 and the buyer is claiming not as described instead of faulty, he doesn't have a leg to stand on. If the buyer claims the item is broken, his feedback seems to contradict him. If it were simply the case that the auction described the item as USB2 when it was USB1, why say it was faulty? Sounds to me like the buyer is trying it on.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Leave factual feedback for him, nobody who orders from you in future will mind a couple of neg feedbacks, we all know there are nutters out there.0

Well, I left feedback and got a personal email stating various things including a Small Court Claim if not refunded immediatley.
I noticed you left the negative feedback you promised I will not retract the feedback, under any circumstances.
The card is on it's way back to you.
I have taken the precaution of photographing the card from multiple angles, in case you try to present a different item.
I am appalled at the way you have gone about this auction and the subsequent aftermath, and should warn you that if you renege on the refund, I will issue a Small Claims in the County Court.
I have also the originals of these emails as evidence, of the process.
This has now advanced far beyond cash, and is now a matter of personal honour.
Thank You
So there we go, one more eBay user for the list of never to deal with or buy from again. Why do I never have any problems with overseas buyers but always english people, I do like the personal honour bit.
Thanks Everybody
