I sold an item which was working, the buyer states it not what he bought and doesn't work now and demands a full refund.
Fair enough, but before he returns he wants a full refund and all his costs paid 1st, that was this morning, this afternoon after I said no refunds until I recieve the item back ( i thought this was fair enough, paypal would agree this), he left negative feedback. He ignored my ebay terms and conditions stating all refunds will only be processed once item returned and will not include postage.
He left this feedback, on a q how else would I get the item back, does he expect me to collect it. How would I be keeping postage I paid to Royal Mail.
Is the following feedback a fair one to leave,
I really am loosing interest in ebay there are so many people who just don't read listing completley and then take the mick.
I don't care about the negative, but he may not like the one I leave, any thoughts people.
Cheers

USB1 not USB2, refuses full refund, wants to keep postage & me to post item back.

BUYERS & SELLERS BEWARE,DOESN'T READ T&C,LEAVES NEGATIVE BEFORE RETURNING ITEM.

Some people you just can't please. How can he/she expect you to refund without receiving the item back first.
I think your feedback seems fine. It's factual. Make sure you reply to the feedback he/she left you.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I totally agree. Any nasty or vicious feedback makes the leaver look bad. In this case the seller is not at fault for asking that the item be returned before refunding, so why would he want people browsing the feedback to think him a muppet ?
Something nice and factual, I like pink_phantom's suggestion. The idea of feedback is to warn other users, so put something that might make them consider blocking his bids.

I wouldn't suggest leaving negatives / follow-ups in all CAPS - it makes you look deranged. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
leave factual feedback,
'aggressive buyer demanded to keep item AND have full refund'
your bit about T&C would put me off a little bit as it implies you may be trying something onmoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Bleugh's feedback makes the point really well. I think mentioning T and C would be unhelpful. Personally I NEVER buy from anyone who says refunds won't include postage. If an item isn't as described ( and I'm not suggesting for a moment that was the case here) why should the buyer be out of pocket for discovering the seller's error? Sadly of course there are always the dodgy buyers ready to take advantage. :rolleyes:Nothing in it, nothing in it but a ribbon round it .....0 -
One question - he says in his feedback that the item is USB1, not USB2. How would he know this if, as he says, the item doesn't work at all?In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.
