How to save a.pdf on website for downloading?

Options
My OH has a small business with a website he designed and built using dreamweaver. He is promoting an event locally for which he has generated a flyer in .pdf format using Indesign. He has printed a stack of these but also wants to make the flyer available for download from his website (it contains an application form). How does he do this?

I hate it when people use the acronyms like OH because I have no idea what they mean :(

Without sounding condescending how come they know how to build a website yet don't know how to upload documents, as most people who work with dreamweaver work locally then have to upload the documents to the webserver

Anyway.....enough of that, wasn't a dig just more out of curiosity.

To make it available for download, it's mainly just a case of upload the file via their file management program (File Manager or FTP) into their relevant webdirectory folder which is normally (public_html or www) of their website, creating a hyperlink to the PDF file then typing a description for it then putting that hyperlink on the part of the website where they want people to download it from.

Personally I think there is a fine line between acceptable acronyms/abbreviations in a forum context, and the ubiquitous txt spk.

I just hate reading everything being abbreviated it confuses the hell out of me. I'm getting old and it's retarding the English languages lol
