Would the soffit vents fit a box profile metal shed I believe most metal sheds are box profile as it gives the thin metal strength.

    only 4" circles

they would have to measure them :) could allways cut a side of it, so it wouldnt me a circle ( more of a rugby ball shape ) then fit it

We have a metal shed. My OH did a concrete base and the two of us put it up.We've had it about 7 years now, and it's great. We have a freezer, ride on lawn mower, garden furtniture etc in there. The handles of the sliding doors have holes in them, so when pulled together we just put a padlock through them.

I bought a space saver metal shed from Waltons they were on sale was a little worried about what i had read about metal sheds being a nightmare to assemble but they said it was a new system and yes it was just as easy to assemble them as it would be a wooden shed. I don't get much condensation (touch wood) but it might be a problem later on because i keep my mobility scooter in mine and some gardening stuff. :o

Interesting that this thread should appear as I am thinking of getting a metal shed or storage container to store my dog food in. Anybody know if they are rat proof?

    Thanks in advance :D.

The Space Saver shed that I bought sits flat to my slabs you can buy an anchor kit but I fastened it to the slabs with "L" shape brackets bought from Wilkinsons for a couple of pence and filled all the edges with silicon Double doors close flush so i would think its rat proof Unless the rats up your way have Oxy & Acetylene cutting torches LOL

What about something like this if you only want to keep dog food in it.

    Thanks for that info :D.

As for the link - unfortunately I don't think it would be big enough as I usually get 30-50 20kg sacks at a time :rotfl::rotfl: - but if you have any other suggestions I would be most grateful :).

You could always buy a space saver (I keep on about this but its the one i have) and to be absulutely sure put some pallets on the floor for the dog food. But mine is definately Rat Proof
