Had a very early start today for work and same tomorrow. Have been keeping up to date on the FF news and was feeling a bit deflated. Hubby said I've bought you a bottle of rose its chilling in the fridge.....lovely I thought nice glass in the sunshine. Went to the fridge and WOOH HOO collar attached to the bottle of J P chenet ( not the best I know, but he does try love him) for a coupon for free 185gm portion of Port Salut. It has a code on it and if you go to www.portsalut and put the code in. It prints a voucher for a free 185gm portion worth maximum £1.82. Prints twice couponnet (or whatever its called now) style at the bottom of the page. The coupon does state one per household so don't know if multiple entries will work. It does have an option to use if you don't have a printer but didn't risk it because of the code. The wine is on offer at 3 for £10 at tesco but hey, maybe a few will just fall off into the trolley when I change my mind. The cheese seems to be approx £1.75 in most supermarkets. Funny how I only find cheese coupons and its my favourite food :j0

Each collar is different. Tried to use it again but it recognised it had been used already0

This is not good news..is it just F/Foods or other conditional spends?
Was thinking of getting the Telegraph tomorrow for the Waitrose coupon...what do you other peeps think?
Yes - its just the FF coupons. All my other mocs were accepted, cheese, cif, Bold etc all for goods I had purchased. Although I still obviously saved some money I don't think it compensated for the mostly already higher prices in T's so I will be doing my weekly shop in Asda next week.0 -
Yes same for me tonight at my local Tescos regarding FF vouchers. Check out lady said that they will still accept any ones that scan such as Sainsburys. Wasn't very happy as I haven't been reading this thread for a couple of days so was expecting to get £5 off my shopping, particularly as I only really needed about £40 worth & had bumped it to £50 in order to use the voucher!
What's more I got trouted by a CUSTOMER! I put some reduced flwers in my trolly, then saw some that were nicer & put the 1st lot back into the bucket. This stupid old woman near by then said to me "well put the flowers back properly then" in a really rude tone. I said "sorry, what do you mean?" She then told me that I hadn't put the flowers back properly into the water. I said ok, I hadn't realised that but you could have told me that in a much nicer way than you have just done so and she said "certainly not madam, when you behave like that. You took the flowers, you should put them back properly." I just said "how rude you are!" Gosh, it's bad enough with some of the staff sometimes. I don't also need to be trouted by the customers as well!Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0 -
Reading all the posts, it seems as though there has been yet another Black Friday-beginning of the end, it seems. Once again, we are going to have to vote with our feet.... Trouble is, I live nowhere near an Asda, & even Morrisons is a few miles away- oh well, needs must!0

If anyone [like me] still has the printable John Frieda mocs, there are several items on offer at Tesco until 11/05/10So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

Morrison's have Mullerlite yoghourts on offer for £2 for 12 ! I've stocked up , as this is the cheapest I've found for ages . Also they are actually allowed on the SW eating plan. Just thought I'd mention something cheerful after more doom & gloom at T's !!!0

Thought i'd just write Terry an email, please feel free too drop him a line...... terry.leahy@uk.tesco.com
Just outlined how much Buisness Tesco is going loose, eg being if 1000 peeps took £120 buisness away it will be a hefty loss, in fact i believe that the loss will be even biggger as must be at least 10k people use the f/f vouchers. Advised him i will be taking my shopping trips in Asda now with brighter and better c/s.......SIMPLES!0 -
