which store was this anyway...i fancy a drive lol
You had to be quick because for EVERY item that was taken to CS, the CSA was going to the appropriate shelf around the store and removing the SEL before issuing the refund. That's why the queue was so long - some people had dozens of items!
Added to which the CSA couldn't add up for toffee - she even needed a calculator to work out that £4.38 less £3 was £1.38!!
They weren't mentioning DTD either until you asked. The lady in front of me was very pleased when I told her about it.
But good 'ol Tesco, in the midst of all this 1 of the 3 CSA's went on her break and wasn't replaced. Nice to see Tesco maintaining the level of their CS! :rotfl:0 -
:hello:Good Morning
I found out yesterday that Tesco have fixed their tills to recognise coupons and whether you have purchased the product you have given the coupon for. I don't know if this is just the couponnet type coupons. I bought 2 boxes of Whiskas Adult and 2 Boxes of Whiskas Kitten and gave 3 Adult coupons and 1 Kitten coupon. When it scanned the coupons, on the 3rd Adult coupon is came up on the till as item not purchased and wouldn't let it go through, even though I had bought 4 boxes of whiskas in total.
I had this happen to me too with the whiskas. I tried to buy some of the new whiskas pouches that were on offer for £2 a box recently. My adult coupons wouldn't scan on them so I legged it to get the correct ones saying that I must have picked up the wrong boxes by mistake. They were fine on the correct ones. The adult ones have also scanned on the senior cat food as I picked a box of that up once by mistake.
i think it may just be the whiskas ones that are a problem as I too have put similar items in my trolley if the ones on the coupon have been out of stock eg the dove roll on ones.0 -
BBC Dig In - free seeds - click here.
I think this is the first thread I have actually started myself (i.e. not moved by Browntoa :rotfl:). I wonder how long this post will stay here as it's not exactly coupon related.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

Just been to Mr T's total chaos for a Wednesday afternoon. Don't know if it was the budget. total shop £26.88 after coupons £14.48, The Airwick Aqua mist is on offer for £1.50 and although not the fragrance stated managed to use 2x £2.00 off vouchers. When I checked my bill in the car I had picked up a 12 pack of diet pepsi (special promotion pack)buy 6 get 6 free when I looked at the bill they had scanned at £4.46 not £2.64. Went back in bought 4 more packs and got dtd on all five. £4.10 for 60 cans. Just under 7p a can. Thats me and my Vodka sorted for a while.0

I popped into the Tesco Extra today and the Whiskas Temptations coupons were rejected (SA showed me the screen) even though I was bought them. The SA told me to take them to Customer Service to get them taken off but I was in a big hurry to get my daughter to an appointment and didn't have time to waste at the Customer Service desk so I didn't bother.Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
Leave you all alone for a few days and you start a new thread and even stick the odd coupon on it in the first 170 odd posts
Whiskas....neither the adult, kitten or temptations scanned for me in 2 stores today.
According to mysupermatket.com Asda have the pouches as 3 for £8 back on offer again, but no signage in the store I went to, and the SA thought it started at the weekend.
KIngsmill oatilicious coupon above is by post only:mad: Please allow 21 working days for delivery:eek: The coupon is valid until 08/05/201.
Airwick new coupon is only valid for 2 days, so no point printing unless you are on your way out to the shops;)It's nice to be nice .....

VC, did you get their SMS text code straight away after submitting the form? I'am still waiting for them!:D looks like they are getting stricter soon, now that we have to register to get coupons instead of clicking directly to print.

Popped into T's before I went to my daughters today as she really fancied a bacon sandwich and of course the grandkids had eaten it all...remembered to take me last Fridays receipt in with me as Sa scanned a product twice @ £3.50 ( only bought 1 ) was given £7 DTD without even asking ....got 2 x Cheerios on offer with 50p off and used 2 x 25p Pikakpak mocs..used a £2.50 F/food moc as well, although shop was just short of £25(£23)...I'd got a new mixing bowl which was marked on SEL @£4 but went through at £2, that's why my calculation was wrong , but SA still took my F/Food...still around and trying to catch up but am at daughters house from 9.30am until 5 'ish each day. Will sort out GFS tix when I can....no alcohol from me but I could bake a load of cheese scones or bring along some of those cheesey 100cal thingies!!!0
