Got trouted in Morrisons last week - SA said she couldn't accept the MOC for a FREE Milka 'cos it was on offer. I tried to argue that as it was free it didn't matter what price it was but she wouldn't budge and I didn't want to waste my time. Went back next day and used it no probs with a different SA.

Yes, that is my local store but I am boycotting them again for the reason they told you. I states on the coupons that the coupons can't be used in conjunction with any other offer so because it is on sale you can't use the coupon, totally stupid that they refuse a sale for such nonsense. Mind you, 2 of the Morrison's I use are the same and don't take the coupons if the item is on sale because of the Terms & Conditions on the coupon says not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. I'd be willing to bet that the manger of the Dudley store has told Home Office that the store's takings are down due to the roadworks and the Home Office is probably stupid enough to believe him/her.:eek: My last shop at the Dudley store, instead of them making £30+ in sales I ended up walking out with just over £4. If I was the store manager I know which sale I would have rather had!!;) Plus I don't intend on going back there any time soon to so the also lost a repeat customer. Tesco's loss, not mine!!;)

On my last trip to the Dudley Tesco I was getting the free chocolate and they tried to tell me I couldn't use it because it is on offer for 65p and I asked them "what does it matter what the price is if the coupon is for a free one?" Luckily the girl realised what I was saying made sense so I was allowed to buy the chocolate!
