Thanks Z, I did some spreadsheets as part of a very basic computer course (CLAIT) ten years ago, but can't remember much of it! That sounds familiar though.

The race itself was well organised, I just couldn't understand that bit!
We had a bit of a laugh walking from the city centre out to our marshall points, all the streets had been swept clean, normally on a Sunday morning you're dodging smashed bottles, vomit, half eaten kebabs, drunks in the gutter etc... :rotfl:

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Took B for a lovely 2+ mile walk to a local pub and had delicious Carvery. Its been nice having mum around this weekend for company and while some of the time I was thinking I really could use some space, now she has gone am feeling rather and lonely. Its like de ja vue of last Sunday...will I ever get used to it
Sounds like a lovely day, and you will get used to valuing the time with your family and friends but looking forward to the times you are alone rather than dreading them.
