Talking of spreadsheets....does anyone have a link to a good spending diary or spreadsheet already customised? I remember seeing one on here but can't for the life of me remember whos it was.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

Are spreadsheet formulae like maths ones? Stupid question, I know...

Pretty much. Instead of y=a+b, you just have =a1+b2 where a1 and b2 are references of cells. So if you have 6 in cell a1 and 8 in cell b2 then the cell with the formula will display 14.

Thanks Z, I did some spreadsheets as part of a very basic computer course (CLAIT) ten years ago, but can't remember much of it! That sounds familiar though.

Linda, that sounds a bit badly organised.

    Hello

I was marshalling the Bradford Epilepsy 10k race this morning, had to be in town for 7.30am

Great race though, the fastest guys did it in about 29 minutes, I know I'll never be that fast at a 5k distance!

What I couldn't understand was that the race started at 9am - fair enough!

8.40am warm up in Centenery Square - fair enough

but then at 8.50 some bright spark had planned the Lord Mayor's 10 minute address! !!!!!!???
So get everybody nice and warmed up and then bore them to death for 10 minutes before the gun :rotfl:
    ...Linda xx

That's someone who know politicians. If it had been reversed such that the 10 minute speech would have been at 8:40 - then the 9:00 starting gun would have gone off before the warm-up started...

The race itself was well organised, I just couldn't understand that bit!

We had a bit of a laugh walking from the city centre out to our marshall points, all the streets had been swept clean, normally on a Sunday morning you're dodging smashed bottles, vomit, half eaten kebabs, drunks in the gutter etc... :rotfl:

I know - I've been out in Bradford on a Saturday night (and on New Years Eve, and as I was driving I was sober, that was fun.. not).

    Afternoon all

Took B for a lovely 2+ mile walk to a local pub and had delicious Carvery. Its been nice having mum around this weekend for company and while some of the time I was thinking I really could use some space, now she has gone am feeling rather :( and lonely. Its like de ja vue of last Sunday...will I ever get used to it
You will, but it will take a while. It gets gradually easier though, it wont be quite THIS hard for very long. xxx

Sounds like a lovely day, and you will get used to valuing the time with your family and friends but looking forward to the times you are alone rather than dreading them. It took me a long time, but I don't think I was as self sufficient as you are in the first place. You will be fine. :grouphug:
