AOL Broadband - replacement

After several years of paying the £24.99/month AOL broadband fee, I'm now looking to see what else is on the market but am finding it all a bit too much!...

Can anyone point me to the best deals on BB ??

Also, I have a mail account setup with AOL that is tied to my business, so it's important that I retain that. I'm unsure how to do this if I move so anyone with info on this would be much appreciated - thanks.

That is a ludicrous amount to be paying for broadband alone, the current AOL rate is £14.99.
There's no such thing as a 'best deal', Broadband is exchange specific, so go to www.samknows.com and do an exchange search, and then look for the LLU operators on your exchange, as these will be the best deals.
To get further advice you need to say what exchange you are on and what your broadband requirements are, e.g. what kind of download limit do you require?

According to the LLU we only have AOL available - AHHHHHHHHH !!!

The package I've got is unlimited download, so I'd need that again but by the sounds of it I'm screwed anyway - looks like my choice is AOL or nowt!!

Any idea how we can get a discount on the AOL prices??

No, you don't have to use AOL-you can use any provider you like-only AOL is the only LLU provider. However I'd be surpised if AOL was the only LLU provider-what about TalkTalk?
If you post your exchange name someone can double check for you.
But very few non-LLU providers offer unlimited downloads-do you are you actually need this? What are you using per month?
At the very least call AOL and ask to be put on the current pricing-you appear to be on an old legacy tariff.
