Jessops Rule!

A little hint if you are buying from JESSOPS.

If you find a camera cheaper on a UK web site take a printout of the site that is selling it and most if not all JESSOPS stores will pricematch it for you. Just ask if they do pricematching (they do)and then produce your printout.

They will sometimes check with the website by phoning them to find out stock availability but if you go in when its busy they will usually just do the pricematch.

Got to admire Jessops. I was looking at buying a camera for my daughter for Christmas. Jessops had it for sale at £140. I got them to pricematch Amazon and got it for £120. They also pricematched a memory card. 2 weeks later I discovered that Boots had the same camera on special offer for £100. So I gave Jessops a call and they said come in and we'll refund the difference ! There was absolutely no reason for them to do this. I will always shop at Jessops for my camera gear now, I'll just negotiate the best price. In fact, I need to buy some more memory, £250 in Jessops. I can find it for £190 on-line. I'm going in tomorrow to see if they'll match it.
