Am very impressed with your efforts Hypno, clear working space makes for a clear head. Love biscuit colours, particularly choc chip cookies..ooops did I say that out loud ?

I saw talk of lofts over on Sally's thread, I don't do lofts.....probably a small gold mine sitting up there but I'm really not up to it yet, is all DH's stuff.

Morning all - I was awake, but decided I had better tackle the kitchen as all I have done for the last two days is open ready meals to cook, leaving the boxes and the plastic trays on the worktops, and made a squillion coffees, for which the empty mugs were sat on the worktop.....

I ache today.....I would like to know what the equivalent in weight lifting terms is of walking up and down step ladders holding tins of paint for 2 days! My bingo-wings will surely be toning up from this project!

Today I will finish the walls and get the skirting and door glossed. Then I will dive in the bath where I will stay for as long as is practically possible. Tomorrow I will dismantle the desk and the bookshelf from the cabin and start bringing that in, and then I can start sorting stuff and finding it a home. I have thrown out a bit, but have still got a long way to go.

Off to do scratches and check that my overnight matched bet worked as expected, and to look at what bets need doing today.

Ceilings are the worst arn't they? At least the walls aren't as bad, but that's my thoughts.

Hope everything goes to plan Hypno, and the soak in the bath eases the aches and pains.

Weather doesn't look so good today, but limited time left, so off on the train in the other direction, and we're exploring Zurich today. We normally walk everywhere when exploring, so it will burn some calories.

Got to fit in a trip to the Rhine falls before we come back, and some ideas of other places would be good?

I don't know that area (I only do skiing!) so can't help with places to explore, se!

Have done my matched bet - will come out with just over £5 profit. Add that to the massive 91p that I made yesterday, and I am doing alright!

Will have another coffee, and a bowl of cereal, then get myself dressed and armed with paintbrush.....

Every penny adds up, 10ps on scratches for me today but took me over the £10 so have withdrawn that to the debt pot Looking forward to coming to some agreement with ex OH on what he is going to pay us next month and what debts he is going to pay.

Don't work too hard today will you H, you deserve some rest too!

Just 10ps for me too, but as you say, all the pennies add up nicely!

I didn't have to come to an agreement with OH about the debts, as such, because I was keeping the house, I get to keep all the debts too.....the remaining ones were all in my name anyway, and the numbers all worked out fairly, so it was quite simple for us to do. But of course we had a house involved, so slightly different to you. OH then just went on the CSA website and worked out what they would expect him to pay - he then pays me that amount by standing order on 1st Month.

So far, so good - finance wise it has worked out quite cleanly for us, so we are very lucky in that respect.

Wow that took me a while to catch up and now you've made me tired! Way to go Hypno and here's me trying to decide whether to patch up some paint in the study or not :cool:

Where are you getting your MB from, need to look at the site more, have done a few test ones to remind myself how they work but I've used a lot of the free offer from the bookies?

You may have just inspired me to get my paintbrush out and do a few "make it look better" jobs......
