Thank goodness it is the last working day of the week! It is going to be a loooong done, but then I am off :j
Scratching and banking first, as always....and I've got a mystery shop to do at lunchtime. I hope you all have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi Hypno
10ps again on scratchies. Today we'll sort out our month end budgets, also got to start getting sorted for moving back.
Already started on shopping lists, mainly food/groceries, but some elements of the capsule wardrobe too.
Also started browsing the health & beauty threads of mse to look at a new cleansing/makeup routine. Going to investigate the oil cleansing method today, which seems to have a lot of fans.
Also there's a new thread by someone who wants to look more feminine, who'd fallen into the dark trousers and baggy tops uniform that I've fallen into a few times. Lots of good ideas being posted on there. My current uniform is ankle boots, jeans and tailored shirts, well at least the shirts are fitted ones, and some are pink or pink striped, it's practical, but would still like to look more femininely stylish0 -
Ooh, I think I should look at that thread too - something for me to do this evening
Back to 10ps on the scratches, but my mortgage payment has come out, and because of the way they added interest this month, due to the switch from the old mortgage to the new, my balance has decreased more than usual, after interest - by over £1000 in fact.....so updating my signature will be a pleasure! If only it dropped by that much every month - I would be mortgage free in no time!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Right, have updated my snowball, and with the bigger than expected reduction in the mortgage today (which I include as the secured loan element of my non-mortgage debt for signature purposes), the snowball says that if I stick with the amount I am basically paying as a minimum now, then I will still be debt free (except the "proper" mortgage) in 18 months.
That should, in reality be earlier, as it does not take into account the fact that I have to repay Mum next month, which will automatically reduce the debt by £4000.....so, as long as nothing unforeseen happens, I should be debt free in about a year
I'm not going to be silly and try and say that I will overpay and be debt free any earlier than that, because I don't want the pressure/feeling of letting myself down if it doesn't happen. But of course if the opportunity came along to overpay without problem, then I might just take it:)
Onwards and upwards for Awesome April :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Looked into the oil cleansing method, and it seems a no brainer to try it. All you use is castor oil combined with either extra virgin olive oil or sunflower oil, cost wise it's good, and allergy wise it sounds like it shouldn't be a problem. So castor oil is now on the shopping list for when I get back.
I've already realised that Wendy doesn't work for me as a method, it just gives me an excuse to have big eating days too often, so back to my normal dietting with occasional lapses of occasional items, which doesn't seem to do so much damage for me. But pleased it works for you Hypno.0 -
Morning! I love the stalkery thing! I post too often to actually *be* one, but I *feel* like one :rotfl: And Hypno, while I caught up on your thread, I was noticing how much the signature had gone down, thats brill.
Awesome April is also brill! I was feeling so, so tired this morning, but just having that name for the month has gee'd me up a little bit. And I'm definitely going back to the £10 a day challenge. Onwards and Upwards!
