Yes of course you can do it IMD - it is just tough going! Remember, this has been a big part of my life for over 3 years now - day in, day out. Getting the debt down didn't happen easily, and it carried (and still does) its fair share, and more, of tears, stresses, family tensions, and sleepless nights. I still have very "black" times about the debt - usually when I hit a new milestone, eg getting under the next £10k barrier, but I am learning to deal with them and to be ready for them as they approach.
But, I can say that it gets easier.....each APR that is reduced, each card/loan that is paid off, each month that the overdraft isn't maxed, etc etc, is a huge step forward. And as each thing happens, it is easier to stay focused for the next step.
One thing I did, although not so relevant at this stage for me, is to pick one debt and focus on it, aiming to clear a debt was hugely motivating. I threw every penny at it - so if I got £10 scratch money, it was paid straight to the debt, not in a holding pot or anything. The same thing happened, regardless of how small the payment was - Egg and Virgin, in particular, have been very used to payments of £1.47 etc
You ARE making progress, you just sometimes don't see it yourself because you are too close to the situation! Keep going - you'll get there xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. I have had to laugh, I found £1 in the dead car and bought a lottery ticket, thinking that people win when they really are in the pits of despair and tell their story of destitution and woe after winning - I thought that could be me, but I couldn't find the ticket anywhere!

That gets added to the "falling off the gymball in the office" scenario, as something that will pop into my mind and make me smile for ever more :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
