Hi basically i have been with vodapone for a while and upgraded my pone last year. However i rang up recently to check how long it was untill i could up grade my pone and was told that i had another 12 months on it and had sighned up for a 24 month contract. Im sure this was not the case and i want to try to leave my contract early somehow. Is there any loop holes that i can use? Like maybe changes in the contract or anything like that? I am still fairly sure i wudnt have sighed up for so long. Thanks in advance for any advice. xxx

Look for your original paperwork you agreed to.

The only loophole is if they stop providing you a signal and are unable to re-provide it such as a mast is taken down permanently. Otherwise you can't get out of it.
If they make changes to the term and conditions you must show the change adversely affects your core service, you and ask to leave before it is implemented.

The original papers will help here. This could prove the whole thing to be wrong either by vodafone or you. Hope it's vodafone though. :)

You will have started a new contract when you upgraded. Do you really think that they're going to give you a new phone so that you can go straight to another network?
You can leave now if you want to but you'll have to pay the early termination fee.
