Somre more to consider:
Magix Movie Edit Pro 11
Sony VegasHappy chappy0 -
I'm not bothered by how complicated something looks as long as it's either vaguely intuitive or the help is good.
Well, Corel has moved up into strong contender position now.
Summary so far:
AVS - liked it straight away. Simple and effective. Cannot reverse clips. Pan and zoom somewhat limited.
Cyberlink Power Director - looked good but ran out of memory within 10 minutes.
Adobe Premiere - hated it straight away. Reviews agreed.
Corel Video Studio - took ages to work out how to import files and apply pan/zoom effect. After that turned out to be a pretty decent page. Pan/zoom very good, effects and transitions easy to control. Adding titles not as good as for AVS.
Not keen on the styling the interface. All black, smoothed and "hey it looks easy" design. All the animated effects run full time in the library views too which I found annoying.Happy chappy0 -
