I chase after the Avon rep and throw the catalogue at them. It doesn't make any difference as it's a different rep every time, but it makes me feel better and upsets a bimbo for the rest of the day.
Honestly.......!:(0 -
Thats a little judgemental. not all Avon ladies are bimbo's, there are some very genuine ones who are simply trying to supplement their family income.
Honestly.......!:(
most of them don't understand the word no though.0 -
Indeed but many including Avon, Kleenzy, Betterware simply dont understand that many of us dont want there catalogues, or to pay for over rated tat which is case with Kleenzy especiallyfantasia322 wrote: »Thats a little judgemental. not all Avon ladies are bimbo's, there are some very genuine ones who are simply trying to supplement their family income.

Had to laugh at the avon thing! I threw my avon book in the bin. in my mind if i didnt ask for it, and dont want it, then its junk?! The wee avon chick didnt take too kindly too this. She buzzed my door at some ungodly hour on a saturday morning to give me the hard sell blah blah blah, and told me I had to go and get the book out the bin. !!!!!
When i told her said book was in the big communal bin outside, i got a mouthful of abuse.
ok ok so I could have left it outside the door, but if i never asked for it, then why should i??
And, in a true MSE vein, if i was going to order from avon, surely i would be ordering via quidco or topcshbk to get some extra pennies :P:heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpulsPrincesses wear crowns to remind them that they are beautiful and special because some days its easy to forget. :heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpuls0 -
Yor Avon ladies seem a bit over the top. I have to say I help my daughter sell avon to suppliment her income but take a no as no. We never call at stupid hours and put a polite note on the books when we put them through the door saying if you dont want any more just leave outside with a note on the order form. I cant understand one asking you to retrieve it from the bin because the reps buy them but cant send them back. We dont need to cold call anymore as she has a great set of customers and advise anyone trying to cold call the streets she has already done that this is already covered. I am really sorry for the upset some cause but we are not all bimbos :rotfl:I am 54:eek: although its nice to be thought of as a bimbo0
