Split Screen PC Gaming

Unfortunately it looks like PC gaming is going in the opposite direction - rather than reintroducing split screen gaming, they are introducing technologies like Eyefinity which puts your single player screen across multiple monitors. So even if you have 6 monitors connected to your PC you will still only be able to play single player, rather than having a monitor or two for each player. Ridiculous. Look at this poor girl having to watch helplessly while her brother from another mother has all the fun

A 60" TV would still have a maximum resolution of around 1920x1080 - you're getting the same number of pixels but just spread over a larger surface, so it will look pretty blurry. The six monitor setup via Eyefinity has a resolution of 5760x2160, so games will look super-sharp. But that's offtopic really
