Spam text messaging from 2ergo? Help!
Options
Hi,
About 2 days ago I received 4 texts from a company calling itself 'The Music Site'. The messages state that I am a subscriber to the service, charging me £3 a month. I have never subscribed to such a service and so I called my mobile provider who have told me that there are no charges on my bill at the moment but I am concerned how the company got my number in the first place and whether they will actually start charging me.
t-mobile have said that the company registered to the number is called 2ergo. I have looked them up and they seem like a mobile marketing company. The text message gives me the option to text 'STOP' to a number but I'm not sure whether to do this as it looks like it may just be spam.
Has anyone else had any experience of this?

2ergo host several services on their numbers
if you contact them, they'll be able to unsubscribe you, and probably give you more information about the actual service provider if you need it
you can find a Manchester number on their website and elsewhere, rather than use the 08440
