OMG- just had to tell u all. I'm going to start match betting. I've signed up with betfair tonight £40 Cashback from quidco (£15 clear profit as only had to place a £25 bet!!), plus thanks to mse boards got a referral code from someon one here so extra free £25 bet and they hve agreed to send me half there referral fee so another £12.50 hopefully. So £52.50 made (well provided I can work out how to mb!!).
I haven't even signed up for a normal bookies to actually pla e any bets yet. I have read and re-read all the info tonight. Tomorrows nights plan is to try and place my first bets. All the guys over there seem really helpful so I'm hoping that I can make a bit of extra money from this. I want to use this to try an pay off the debt asap. If u can get this cleared then I can focus on being a mfw which is my main aim right now!!Mortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640 -
well done baby steps! you are getting more than me daily on onepoll I normally have been lucky to get 10p a day the last few days!
well done on the debs voucher.
I have to say one poll works great with the Iphone and that is why I'm doing so well. There is the app itself, but you can also use the website really easily via the iPhone so am also getting them off the website. Hopefully this will continue!!Mortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640 -
So MB is harder than it looks. I have made £65 in CB so far so that's a plus. Spent all evening trying to get my head around how to make mb actually work so I can make a profit. The lovely people over on the mb forum are lovely, but got to admit I feel like a right idiot asking all these dumb questions:mad:
I think I am slowly but surly getting my head around it, so far a £1.35 loss. But these were qualifying bets to get my free bets which (apparently) is where the money is made. Just need to work out how to turn the free bets into actual cash now. I will provide a full progress update at the weekend, when u actually work out if I have managed to make any moneyMortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640 -
Well got to say had a good week with my spending this week , I have spent very little which means a good end to my month. I have decided not to update the figure of what has been paid off my O/D till the end of the month. This will mean that it will be an accurate reflection of where I am. I am hoping to have paid off £300 reducing it to £1700. This will mean being very tight, especially with holiday funds.
I am also hoping to reduce this further with another £200 from matchbetting. :j:jI will give a fuller update on this later when I have the figures, but am planning on counting only what I have actually withdrawn in this figure not any floats I have built up. (I may not be able to achieve this it depends how the next weeks goes to be honest).
I have also paid another £100 off the mortgage taking me to £400 for the year so far. Its getting closer and closer to July when our fixed deal runs out, can't wait to start significantly overpaying then.:D
Also another £50 winging its way off to xmas savings, am hoping this won't actually be xmas saving. If I can make enough from MB this will be the start of the emergency fund.
I need to sit down and sort out what we can pay off the joint CC, TV lisc to pay, airport parking for hols and the home insurance from last month so probably not as much as I would hope this month. Although beginning too see the light at the end of the tunnel on this one!!:T:T:TMortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640 -
Well as promised a match betting update, I have joined 6 bookies this week and so far I have made, £145:beer::beer:
This is from the free bets offered for signing off, minus the small amounts you lose on each bet. From what I have read it is easier making money in the first few weeks as there are all the sign up offers available to you. so far I have only withdrawn £5.40 as I have been using the rest to build up a float on the exchange.
To achieve this I have put £250 of my own money (well the OD!!) in, MB is definitely one of those things were it takes money to make money. I can withdraw the £250 at any point so its not lost money.
In addition to this I should receive £140 in cashback, although so far only £50 of this has tracked so we will wait and see what happens with this.
I have to say for investing a few hours of my time I don't feel I have made a bad return. I don't really have a target to achieve from this. We will see how it goes over the next few weeks to see if it is worth it. But as everyone over on the MB board says, this is free money so will take advantage as much as i can.Mortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640 -

MF new target Dec 16 REACHED!! :j0 -
Yeah, from what I've seen its easier in the first few weeks when your getting all the sign up bonuses. Although a number of offers are posted over on the MB threads that show what offers are available. Will just have to wait and see how it goes once I've signed up to all the sites, there are still quite a few more to do yet:j:jMortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640

I'm having a horrible week this week. Feel really tired and run down, which is not helped by work being really busy at the moment. I really need to get around to booking a holiday as I could use the break right now.
On the plus side have spent hardly any money (which isn't bad for the first week of the month) and made a bit extra from match betting, though have not had as much time as I would have liked to.
I'm also feeling a bit disapointed that I can't seem to shift the weight I want to. I think because I'm tired I have been craving naughty food and not got to the gym as often as I should have, so no weight loss for me this week.
Oh well, hopefully I will feel more positive by the weekend.Mortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640
