Is this right? Im in arears (thanks to everyone for advice on that) and Im paying that back at £100 p/month until January 2011. I got the new bill today and noticed that it only goes up to January, with monthly installments of £124 I rang to see if they could extend it to March and the girl said no. She didnt even take my…

It would make more sense for all councils to deal with it on a 12 month term. Seems a bit stupid to me to have a 10 month system. Free months aren't really that when there are people in debt...

I've written to my local council requesting a 12 month term, I'm hoping they will do this.

Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410
Target for Dec 2011: £17000
Lloyds - Early Jan: £[STRIKE]2040[/STRIKE] Feb: £[STRIKE]2050[/STRIKE] Mar: £0
