    to everyboby,
    thank you for all your help in your replies today stood my ground with the bank and to my surprise I WON they have said that they were sorry for all the upset that this has caused reinstated my bank account and put all my money back we agreed that i pay 85 per month to pay my overdfaft of ,,,,,,,,
    i also had a call from the complaint dept ,,about 6 wks ago i applied for my ppi from a loan i took out with the halifax 4 years ago to be paid back to me ,,with everything that had gone on over the last few weeks i had forgot all about it they are:j GOING TO PAY ME IN FULL YES THAT RIGHT FOLKS IN FULL 1390.00:T is the total amout thats THANKS to this site to give me kick that i needed so i can pay my overdraft off and take my kids on a good day out maybe even a weekend if i can manage it THANK YOU TO EVERY ONE ON THIS SITE YOU ARE ALL GREAT :j:beer::T:A:j

    Well done, that's great news.:j

    Although it wouldn't hurt to set up a basic account with someone else , even if you use it to put the odd £5 in here and there. You never know when you might need a back up

    I am sure the fact that the Financial Ombudsman Service published details of a very similar case yesterday is pure coincidence!

    I'd still set up an account elsewhere if I were you.

    thats a really good idea never thought of that will do,
    im just so pleased that so far thing are looking better and like i said maybe my kids can have a weekend away they have been through so much already there dad has got cancer so the last thing they need is for me to go to bits over all this

    i will be setting up another account god what a shock for the bank to do that didnt think that they could be so cold but then again it a dog eat dog world we live in i suppose , what report from the ombudsman no really sure what that means
