E: 06/04 Take a Break issue 12

i'm having probs with the Pick me Up crossword today, it's a bit tricky so will be a bit late posting, don't think i'd be very happy if i've struggled all afternoon to get the puzzles done then someone else had posted it
& everyone thanks them when we've been doing them week in & out for all on here sorry if that sounds a bit sad but hjb, tttjay & the regular posters usually help each other if we get stuck or need help pm,
so's we can get the mags to all on here asap.

The op has gone to alot of effort to post it, alot of typing as well as solving puzzles, op seems to be very new so probably didn't realise there is a system in place regarding the mag comps

agree korky but newbies prob dont know this as it doesnt say that anywhere, unlike the postals where there is a list

pity there wasnt anywhere to say who does what, ie chat, tab, other mags etc and even the itv comps are the same, everyone on here knows catowen does them but again if you are a newbie then you arent to know that

the op was only trying to help, so thanks and dont be put off xx

Don't be disheartened Phillippaha.There are still a lot of competitions out there that are available to post up.
As this board has evolved it has just become easier if certain competitions are left to certain members.This can be for reasons of cost,effort or just being able to commit to watching a certain TV programme.
The rest of us tend to leave these comps to these members & we all benefit from their timely posting.

hi, it's not an uproar it's just kind of a known thing that who posts what kind of thing, but as said from above posts when you're new these things happen, i did it when first joined here a few times till i learnt to wait, search & then get in touch with the other regs
