I've just called them again. The adjudicator I've been dealing with is out of the office for a week so I have asked for someone else to deal with it in her absence because I don't see why I should wait another week especially with this going on.

It was actually the adjudicator who called me yesterday to say she had been unable to get through and had sent an email and letter but as you say its likely that that will just disappear into the round filing cabinet on the floor.

We've not received any letters and to be honest I don't expect to. Technically we are no longer a customer as we came away from them when we put in the complaint.

I have spoken to the fca and they said that officially they are currently trading so they have no reason no to return our money.

The lady from the ombudsman is phoning me on Monday so hopefully I will know a bit more.

My husband received a letter on Tuesday basically stating that they have decided to sell the business and exit from the debt management industry.

I may email them to ask why I'm not on the account considering it was a joint account.

Still no money. Having to take them to court and looks increasing like we will never get our money back.
