Lloyds TSB Stocks and Shares ISA - A bit of help please

Hi guys
I have about £800 to spare that I am wanting to invest in a Stocks and Shares ISA.
I have looked so far at the Lloyds TSB Share Dealing ISA.
However, the charges are a bit difficult to understand can anybody explain them to me?
Also, is it fairly straightforward? The demo makes it look somewhat simple? Do you load the "nominee account" or the "ISA account" then simply buy shares/stock in a company then wait until it goes up and you have profit in "profit loss". Then sell them?
Please advise, sorry if I sound such a novice.
Also, I looked at funds etc, but didn't particuarly understand them
Cheers guys
