    Could the crossword freezing be a firefox related problem ? I use Maxthon as my browser.
    There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

    it could be, if me and kathfisch are using the same internet then could be firefox, does this mean i have to ring them?

    unfortunately i know nothing much about computers?!

    The crossword doesn't change at the weekend so you've got until sunday night to do it :rotfl:

    I've got an update to firefox automatically today, and so has my dad, but its not been installed yet. It'll install when I start firefox the first time tomorrow and I'll let you know if it makes any difference.

    Otherwise I'll try safari and netscape (after downloading the plugins). The things I'd do for the chance of 2000 points :rotfl:

    i use firefox, and have had no problems with the crossword :confused:

    I use FF and the new update hasn't affected the crossword. Maybe you could get an IE emulator (http://dean.edwards.name/weblog/2005/03/ie-emulator/, one of many)

    Although it's a Java app so maybe you just need to download the latest update to that?

    Where are the techies on this board when you need them? ;)
