Dormouse wrote::j I got 50 points for the Tesco sign-up within 24 hours, even though I registered with another email address (my PB email is already registered with them). I didn't expect to get the points and just did it for the vouchers. Woohoo! :j
Worked for me too :T0 -
I have no problem doing the crossword with Firefox.
If you find the odd pages anywhere that don't run in Firefox, there is a useful little add-on you can download called IE View. You download it (see Firefox Central in your FF Bookmarks) and it adds a line to the Tools menu, saying "Always view this page in IE". On non-compatible sites, (i.e. sites which are incorrectly written to cater only for IE because of Windows dominance), you can just click on that line in the drop-down menu, and the site will load straightaway in IE. On subsequent occasions when you use that site and click on a link to it in FF, the site will open automatically in IE.
You are all probably using version 1.5.x of Firefox. If you would like to give it a try, there is a version 2 beta available for download, although Mozilla are pretty quiet about it. I didn't find it through looking at the Firefox Central website, but through Googling for it.
At first sight, there doesn't seem much difference in the new Beta, but the other day my PC crashed whilst FF was running. When I rebooted and reloaded, FF told me that it had saved the locations of the sites I had windows open for at the time, and gave me the option of reloading them. Brilliant!

Has anyone else had a text message from PB advertising T-Mobile? I was not best pleased to get it. It came yesterday.
If you log in and go to My Account, then click on My Subscriptions, you may well find that a new (well, I hadn't seen it before) subscription service has been added: Mobile Alerts. Now I wouldn't mind if you got PPs every time you got a text alert ...
Anyway, you can uncheck the box if you no longer wish to receive them.I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, and I'm not just talking about MY life, I'm talking about everybody's life. Can anybody tell me if this was a competition or something? I have just recieved this morning a box with a PB shopping bag 4 squeezy pigs 4 pencils 4 pens and 5 keyrings. Is this perhaps one of the curly birthday goodie bags? Im a little worried as i ordered a boots voucher and im hoping that they havent just replaced the order with a selection of items. There was no letter in the parcel to explain what they were for. Has anybody else recieved this?
Thanks Strawbs xxPain is temporary!! quitting is permanent0
