Vodaphone PAYgo Text Pack

My wife has twice tried to purchase a text pack by texting 5TEXT to 2345. Twice it has failed and she has had to call a non-free customer service centre to get it applied.

They say they have no idea why the text pack fails.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

I believe text packs have been discontinued with Vodafone and replaced with Freedom Packs which are better and you get much more for your money.

If you spend £10 you get 100 minutes and 300 texts, spend £15 you get 200 minutes and 600 texts, spend £20 and you get 300 minutes with 3000 texts. These packs are valid for 30 days.

If you wife tries what Ann S has suggested in adding a freedom pack and it works you'll know its a problem with trying to get the text pack and not your account being incompatible with Vodafone services as a whole.

Looking at the Vodafone website I can't see any evidence of texts packs still being available, like Ann said its all about the Freedom Packs
