Motorola L7

Hey, I'm new here, but have been a long time tight-wad ;) I have been wanting a new mobile for a few months now, and have set my heart on this Motorola L7 (yes, it is the same as the SLVR) and have found a few deals, through such dealers as coolnewmobile and buymobilephones. I have done my homework and researched these on MSE and have heard many horror stories so thought I would seek some advice before I spent my scarce student money on this.

In short, my question is; do I risk it with these "fantastic deals", if not, where can i go to afford this?

Thanks

Sonni

There are some 12 month free deals through http://www.onecompare.com/?skn=moneysavingexpert

Aslong as you stick to the Cashback t&c there should be no problems, the majority of people have problems when they are late sending in their bill or some other dispute, but if you stick with the t&c to the letter then you can get some good deals.

  • Hi,

I've just bought a Motorola L7 i-mode from O2 (on-line) for £119.99 on pay as you go. They give you £75 worth of HMV vouchers which you need to register with HMV before the end of December, but you have till May 2007 to use them. They also give you a bluetooth headset, and a 1GB memory card.
I reckon you're actually getting the phone for free, bearing in mind the other bits you're getting.

If PAYG is what you're looking for, check out the O2 website and see if there are any other similar deals for other phones you might be interested in.

I can't comment on contract phone deals.

    Hope this helps.

    Peter
